Welcome to The byrizz Rehab & Performance Podcast, episode number thirteen. In this episode, I speak to Rikard Grip, Secretary-General at the Swedish Biathlon Federation and former Team Head Coach for the Sweden XC skiing National Team.
Rikard Grip's life has been mostly in the spirit of skiing, and it seems like to continue on that way. As the former Head Coach of the Cross-country National Team, he coached over 300 podium places in the World Cup. Now he leads the Swedish Biathlon Association and is happy to pay tribute to everyone who contributes non-profit to the sports movement. Grip, who worked in the cross country team as the national team captain and national team manager in 2010-2019, has worked with Olympic preparations at the Swedish Olympic Committee for the past year. During his years in the cross country team, the Swedish riders took 35 Olympic and World Championship medals and he was named Leader of the Year at the Sports Gala in 2015.
