Welcome to the last episode of the second season of The byrizz Rehab & Performance podcast. In this one last episode of 2022, I'm speaking to Marcel Da Cruz currently working as the physical trainer and medical coordinator for the tennis player Casper Ruud.

Who is Marcel Da Cruz?

Marcel has a Masters's degree in Sports Science and has been active as a Strength and Conditioning coach for over 20 years. He works primarily with athletes in speed, strength & motor skills. Marcel has also worked extensively with different kinds of rehabilitation - from muscle/tendon to nerve injuries. He has lectured for several courses for personal trainers and basic to advance methods for the Norwegian Track & Field association and not least, the Norwegian tennis association. 

Marcel is a former top athlete with a high-level performance in Basketball, Track & Field, and Football. He has worked in the fitness industry since 1996. Marcel works also as a Performance Coach when he is not traveling with Casper at Magnat Performance Center
